Saya Zahirah dan suami Zulhazmi 28tahun berpengalaman 10tahun berniaga bermula dari lepasan SPM 2010,kami mula berniaga burger tepi jalan di kg baru KL, bersama2 untuk kumpul duit kahwin. siang kerja part-time restoran marrybrown kepong, petang kami buka stall. 2011 kami sah menjadi suami isteri (Alhamdulillah tahun ni genap 9tahun perkahwinan kami dan masih belum dapat rezeki Anak). Tahun 2011 kami mula makan gaji full time jadi kerani tapi darah tu nak juga berniaga jadi buat side income dari bermacam sumber jadi mak andam, urus pakej pelamin, fotografer, jual henfon, menjual perhiasan wanita di bazar, dropship jual produk kesihatan. Tahun 2014 kami berhenti kerja focus berniaga restoran di kelana square, setahun kemudian buka cafe tema raggae di subang jaya tapi 2016 kami mengalami kejatuhan yang agak teruk sehingga terpaksa tutup semua perniagaan akibat dikecam dan dihina orang sekeliling, kami membawa diri ke australia 2tahun mencari rezeki disana pula. 2018 kami pulang ke malaysia bermodalkan duit yang ada kami buka gerai tema western dan masakan panas semua berharga RM5, dalam setahun tapi orang dengki nak kawasan tu jadi kami tarik diri. 2019 kami cuba buat produk makanan sendiri dari rumah dgn mengunakan modal yang sangat minimum iaitu jenama (RAHSIA QUALI) setiap bulan jualan meningkat dapat sambutan tapi lagi sekali UJIAN DEMI UJIAN, 2020 COVID19 melanda. Business kami drop teruk kami pakai duit untung untuk survive sebab suami isteri tak kerja. Time pkp banyak pesaing baru yang tumbuh bagai cendawan. Siapa ada modal lebih untuk buat iklan dia kedepan tapi kami nak naikkan jenama kene buat marketing tu semua pakai duit. Sampai hari ini kami struggle untuk meningkatkan jualan kami.
Ya kami tahu kami belum lagi menjadi usahawan yang berjaya untuk dicontohi para usahawan disana. Tapi kami ingin kongsikan pengalaman kisah jatuh bangun kami supaya jangan pernah putus asa mengejar cita-cita dan impian. Dan mungkin dengan peluang yang diberikan oleh pihak penaja dapat membantu untuk menaikan perniagaan kami semula.. kami yakin produk kami juga dapat memberi manfaat kepada seluruh rakyat malaysia! I, Zahirah, and my husband, Zulhazmi, are both 28-years-old with 10 years of experience running a business since we graduated from SPM in 2010. We started selling roadside burgers in Kampung Baru, Kuala Lumpur, together to get money for our wedding.
In the day, we work part-time at the Kepong Marrybrown, and then we would open the stall in the evening. In 2011, we legally became husband and wife (Alhamdulillah, this year we’ve been married for 9 years and still have not been blessed with children). In 2011 we started earning a full-time salary as clerks but we still wanted to run a business so we made some side income through various ways such as bridal make-up artist, provide some wedding packages, worked as a photographer, sold handphones, sold women's jewelry at bazaars, and even did dropship for health products.
In 2014, we stopped working to focus on the restaurant business in Kelana Square, a year later, we opened a reggae-themed cafe in Subang Jaya but in 2016, we experienced a rather severe fall so we had to close all businesses due to being criticised and insulted by people around us. We took ourselves to Australia for 2 years to make a living there.
In 2018, we return to Malaysia with the money we have and opened a western-themed stall and sold some stirfried food at only RM5 within a year, but some jealous people wanted our location so we closed shop.
In 2019, we tried to make our own food products from home using very minimal capital called RAHSIA QUALI. Every month, sales increased as we received a good response but yet again, TEST AFTER TEST, COVID-19 hit us in 2020.
Our business dropped badly and we had to use our profit to survive because both of us, husband and wife, aren’t working. During the MCO, many new competitors are growing like mushrooms. Whoever has more capital to make ads, they’re the ones who can move forward better. Though we want to raise our brand, we need money for marketing. To this day we struggle to increase our sales.
Yes we know we have not yet become successful entrepreneurs to be emulated by other entrepreneurs. But we want to share the experience of our ups and downs so that we never give up on pursuing our ambitions and dreams.
